This instruction manual contains the description, technical data and instructions for installation, startup and maintenance of the pneumatic actuators PA @0 and PA 20 for ball valves type 220227.
Warnings: Any work done on the actuator may only be carried out by authorized and trained personnel. [. . . ] Installation of Supplementary Modular Components
The pneumatic actuators PA @0 and PA 20 are equipped with fastening points for the installation of various supplementary modular components. A power plug is used for electrical connections for standard versions. The explosionproof version is equipped with a connecting cable 2 meters in length and 3 x 0. 75 mm 2 in cross-section. The modular components are prepared for installation; the electric wires are cut to length and ready to use.
How to install and wire the components is illustrated on the following pages.

Description Potentiometer kit Technical Data @000 /2 W Code @99 @90 @32
The potentiometer is used for continuous feedback on the ball valve position. Installation: q Unscrew the transparent cover and remove the fastening screws for the disk (positional indicator) q Install the potentiometer in its position q Place the shaft with the large gearwheel on the disk and screw on tightly q Put the actuator in the «closed» position q Turn the potentiometer with a screwdriver in the clockwise direction up to the stop so that there is 0- between the red and the white connecting wire q Install the O-rings, housing and transparent cover q Use a 4-pole plug for the electrical connection.

7. before connecting the actuator to the compressed air supply, the following points must be checked carefully: q Correct control pressure (max. 7 bar) q Correct connections q Correct sealing of control connections b) Adjustments: All valves assembled by George Fischer are fully adjusted and ready for operation. Standard versions of the PA @0 and PA 20 actuators have a mechanical rotation limited to 90°. In the case of assembly by the customer or after repairs, adjustments (e. g. of accessories) must be done and checked according to these instructions. Maintenance
The PA @0/PA 20 pneumatic actuators have low maintenance. [. . . ] +46(0)8/727 47 00, Fax +46(0)8/749 23 70 e-mail: info@georgfischer. se, Internet: http://www. georgfischer. se George Fischer Pte.
